TRAINING IN FINANCIAL WELLBEING

Everything related to personal finances and how we manage them is still highly taboo. We don’t talk about our finances—our savings, loans, or financial struggles—perhaps with someone close to us, but rarely beyond that. In some cases, even married couples aren’t fully aware of each other’s financial situation. They may think they know, but not always the whole truth.

So when is a financial situation considered “okay”? When is someone considered wealthy? Where is the line drawn, and who decides that? How much should one have saved to feel secure? The answers are as varied as the people you ask.

I often say that money is one of those “elements” that most often causes stress—typically first and most intensely—especially during major life changes.

I have worked in banking since the year of 2008, and supported by my education, I have been able to specialize in financial well-being. This type of coaching is something I’m truly passionate about.

TO WHO

Has your financial situation been stable so far, but now you’re facing a major life transition? For example, a divorce, unemployment, illness, or retirement?

Maybe your dream is to become an entrepreneur, but you’re unsure how you’ll manage to support yourself.

Are you simply feeling stressed about your finances—worried because whatever comes in each month seems to go out just as quickly?

Is your situation reaching a tipping point? Are you realizing that it’s time to get your spending under control—that something needs to change? Have you taken on multiple loans?

Or perhaps there’s nothing seriously wrong, but you’d like to manage your finances more

efficiently. You want better control, to save more, to plan and set goals—and you’d like someone to help guide you. Are you thinking that if you had a better grasp of your finances, it could have a positive effect on other areas of your life—such as your performance at work, your relationships, your motivation to exercise, your sleep, or even the quality of your diet? Are you thinking about your future?

Maybe you just need a brief review of your budgeting and follow-up practices, along with tips on how to think about your finances and develop everyday habits that support your goals. Financial coaching is also a great fit for young people who are just starting to take responsibility for their own money.

WHAT

The way we handle money is largely influenced by our learned thought and behavior patterns. It’s common to carry certain beliefs with us—some of which can limit us in different areas of life.

Our values also play a role in our well-being. When we live in conflict with our own values, it can create inner discomfort or distress. The challenge often lies in not knowing how to break free from destructive behaviors.

My financial coaching places strong emphasis on the mental aspects of money management—thoughts, attitudes, behaviors, and how money influences other areas of our lives.

During coaching, we use budgeting and tracking tools, along with other financial planning calculations. As with any type of coaching, your own level of engagement will be key to the results you achieve.
