About nutrition
Healthy nutrition is an important part of our overall wellbeing. Food and proper hydration act as fuel for both the body and the brain. Gut health is directly linked to a healthy body, and also to a clear and alert mind.
In my view, purity, variety and regularity are the key words when it comes to nutrition.
Food tracking
Am I eating right? Too much, or too little? These are common questions that come up. The last one is often a stumbling block, especially for people who train actively, because it's easy to believe we're eating plenty and getting enough. If you train actively and often feel cold, it can be a sign that you're not eating enough. Of course, it could also just mean you're not wearing enough clothes!
Another part of my motto is that the mirror often tells the truth better than the scales.
Tracking your food for just a few days can already help you see what your eating habits really look like. I can help you with this: together we look at the timing, amounts, choices and quality of your meals. You can also include this as part of other physical and/or mental coaching.

Eat regularly
Long gaps during the day and between meals can easily trigger sugar cravings. When the body gets a steady supply of "fuel", the "engine" runs well too. As your training increases, your body naturally needs more food. It's also good to learn to listen to your body, because it tells you whether it's getting enough.
We all have our own habits. Some people can't eat anything in the morning, while others can't get going without breakfast. We are individuals, when it comes to food too. My motto is to listen to my body, and that requires being present in myself. Nutrition and gut health affect so much: our mood, energy, sleep and stamina, and through that, even the way we make buying decisions. That's why food, for me, is part of the whole, not a performance.
For some people, fasting can also be a way to give the body a break and support their wellbeing, as long as it's done while listening to the body.
Eat a varied diet
It's good to include carbohydrates, proteins and fats in every meal, and to vary your choices within each of them. I don't believe in diets. I believe in varied, clean food with good choices of fats. Vegetables, fruit and berries are vital for us.
A varied diet, without any "magic tricks", gives you energy for both everyday life and your free time. I strongly recommend leaving ready-made meals on the supermarket shelf.

Supplements
There is a huge range of supplements available today. It can sometimes be hard to know what to choose, because naturally everyone wants to present their own products as the best in the world. I believe in what is natural, in other words, in purity.
In my view, most of us eat too few vegetables, berries and fruit. That's why I believe any deficiencies should primarily be corrected through changes in diet. Supplements are exactly what the name says: a supplement. So it's important to remember that whatever the supplement, it never replaces a varied diet.
I've chosen Soluni supplements for myself because they're clean and free from additives, exactly what I believe in. They've become a natural part of my daily life. I'm a Soluni representative, and I'm happy to tell you more if you'd like to know whether they could suit you.
